Application requirements -- details for nationals except from China, Mongolia, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Vietnam
Will be considered those applicants ( except from the above countries ):
Application requirements 1. who have finished a curriculum of 12 + years abroad ( equivalent of Japanese senior high graduates ), or have an equivalent qualification.
2. who hope to enter institutions of higher education, such as Japanese universities, or to pass Japanese Proficiency Test.
3. who have a clear purpose for learning.
4. who are in sufficient health condition for long-term learning.
Examination fee 20,000yen (To be delivered when application for admission is finished )
The term of application, the period for submission of documents. One-year course(April, 2011 entrance to school) : September 17 (Fri. ) to December 1 (Wed. ) 2010.
One and a half-year course(October, 2011 entrance to school) : March 14 ( Mon. ) to June 1 (Wed.) 2011.

Process from application for admission to enrollment and opening of courses
<Application documents>

1.Required forms on applicant him/herself

 ・An application form ( specified form )
 ・A statement of reason for studying abroad ( specified form )
 ・The original certificate of graduation from the last school in the applicant's academic record
 ・An academic transcript of the last school in the applicant's academic record
 ・A certificate of Japanese-language learning experiences
 ・5 photos ( 3cm×4cm )
 ・A copy of the passport
 ・A proof of the present occupation

2.Documents concerning the financial supporter

(1)In case that necessary costs are covered by money sent from his/her home country
 ・A pledge for financial support ( specified form )
 ・Certificates of bank balances
 ・A proof of earnings
 ・A proof of the present occupation
 ・A document attesting to the relation between the applicant and the financial supporter

(2)In case that the financial supporter resides in Japan:
 ・A pledge for financial support ( specified form )
 ・Certificates of bank balances
 ・Tax payment certificates
 ・A proof of the present occupation
 ・A document attesting to the relation between the applicant and the financial supporter
 ・A copy of residence registry, or a certificate of alien registration
 ・A passport copy

* As circumstances demand, other documents may be required.


<Steps from application to entrance into school>

1.Application

 ・The applicant's proxy ( financial supporter or presenter ) will come to our school within the application period, with all the required documents.
 ・Where application is made directly from abroad, send the forms by EMS.

2.Examination

 ・The first examination・・・a documentary examinaiton.
 ・The second examination・・・An interview with the financial supporter, or the presenter, who resides in Japan. An interview with the applicant if staying in Japan.

3.Application to the Immigration Bureau of Japan

 ・We apply for authorization of resident eligibility in the place of successful applicants.

4.Delivery of Certificate of eligibility

 ・In case that applicants pass screening by the Immigration Bureau, "Certificate of eligibility" will be delivered to us ( usually about a month before the start of courses ).
 ・ The successful applicants or their proxies will be contacted and requested to come to school in order to deliver entrance fees, and to receive "Authorization of resident eligibility" and "Permission of entrance into school".
 ・Where application is made directly from abroad, we will send those documents by EMS as soon as we confirm remittance of the entrance fee.

5.The acquisition of a studying abroad visa

 ・With "Letter of Admission" from us, "Certificate of eligibility" and a passport, successful applicants will apply for a visa at Japanese diplomatic offices in their home country ( Japanese Embassy or Consulate ).

6.Entrance into school

 ・Successful applicants should deliver the tuition fee before entering into school. They are supposed to enter Japan before the placement test that is given a week before the entrance ceremony.
