The Japanese-Language Summer Intensive Course
Outline and characteristics
This is a short-term ( 3 weeks ) intensive Japanese-language course that lends itself to your summer holidays.
Details of the courses
Terms July 21 ( Wed. ) to August 10 ( Tue. ) 2010.
Total hours 54 hours
Class hours ( days of the week, hours ) Monday to Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Friday 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Others There is no class in the afternoon of the last day of the term ( Tuesday, August 10 ) due to the course completion ceremony and a party.
Guidelines for applicants
Regular number of studentsThe class consists of 5 to 10 students.
Application procedures * Submit the application form ( with a photo attached ) by July 7 ( Wed. ).
* Consult us in case where you need an application form for admission.
* Students who hope to stay with a Japanese family need to submit a prescribed form of application by June 9 (Wed.).

Others * Information in prescribed forms of application will be drawn upon by our head office and Japanese-language teachers.
Hereafter, on the basis of this, we will send to you information on the Japanese-Language Course.
Process to entrance into school and opening of the course
1. Application for the level check test, submission of the application form for admission
2. Delivery of the entrance fee and the enrollment fee.
3. Placement test
4. Placement Decision
5. Opening of the course
Schedule of Placement Test 10:00 a.m. July 16 ( Wed. ) 2010.
Study expenses, etc.
Entrance fee, Tuition fee Entrance fee : 10,500yen, Tuition fee : 64,000yen
How to deliver fees Deliver the entrance fee, the tuition fee, etc. at the start of the course.
The term of delivery It is required to deliver an entrance fee and a tuition fee by Wednesday, July 14.
Expenses for course materials 3,000yen
Others Once the tuition and other fees are delivered, they cannot be refunded except when the course cannot be opened.
But in case you inform us your cancelation by the day before class start, we will refund tuition fee.
The expenses include consumption taxes.
Optional Program
・ Schedule:Friday 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
・ Contents(Plan) : experience of art of calligraphy / viewing of Bunraku puppet show / experience of wearing a yukata or a light cotton kimono for summer / Making and eating "okonomiyaki", typical taste of Osaka! / visit to a disaster control center
・ Expenses : needed separately
Other pieces of information
* Those participants from the first day who have attended more than two thirds of the course will be given a course completion certificate.
* This course does not constitute the ground for acquisition of a study visa.
