The Japanese Language Class for Teen Agers
Outline and characteristics
"Want to study at a Japanese junior or senior high school! But still short of the language aptitude..." For such foreign students we open the Japanese Language Course for Teen Agers.
The class is consists of a small groupe of students. Experienced teachers carefully offer a basis Japanese course needed to study at Japanese schools.

Regular number of students 5-6 students per class ( to the maximum of ten persons )
Application requirements and object persons Non-native men and women of Japanese approximately aged 12 to 18.
Youths of different sexes with little confidence in the ability of communicating in Japanese.
Those who cannot read or write hiragana and katakana.
( irrespective of whether or not the applicant is attending junior or senior high schools of Japan )
Application procedures Fill in necessary entries in the application form, attach a photograph, and send the form to Osaka YWCA College.

The term of application, the period for submission of documents. If your level is judged to be suitable for the course, you will be permitted to enter in mid-course.
( In that case, a discount of fees will be applied. )
Time of reception Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturaday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ( closed on Sundays and holidays )

Process to entrance into school and opening of the course
1. Application for the level check test, submission of the application form for admission
2. Level check test. ( Consult us for the schedule. )
3. Delivery of the tuition fee.
4. Opening of the course
Schedule of the placement test As needed ( consult the schedule when applying for admission )
Study expenses, etc.
Entrance fee, Tuition fee. Entrance fee : 10,500yen, Tuition fee : 79,800yen
How to deliver fees To be paid at the reception desk of our school or by bank transfer, etc.
The term of delivery Deliver the entrance fee, the tuition fee, etc. at the start of the course.
Expenses for course materials 2,500 - 3,000yen
Others Once the tuition and other fees are delivered, they cannot be refunded except when the course cannot be opened.
( including course materials and facilities expenses )
Other pieces of information
* We recommend that at their request, pupils at elementary schools take a mini class ( opening from 2 persons ). Consult us for details.
* This Course is part-time. You cannot get a study visa, a student ID card, or a student discount of commutation tickets.
