Application requirements -- for nationals from China, Mongolia, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Vietnam
Will be considered those applicants from China, Mongolia, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Vietnam:
Application requirements 1. who have finished a curriculum of 12 + years abroad ( equivalent of Japanese senior high graduates ), or have an equivalent qualification.
2. who hope to enter institutions of higher education, such as Japanese universities, or to pass Japanese Proficiency Test.
3. who are capable of passing the N5 grade in Japanese Proficiency Test. who have learnt Japanese more than 150 hours.
4. who have a clear purpose of learning.
5. who are in sufficient health condition for long-term learning.
Examination fee 20,000yen(To be delivered when application for admission is finished )
The term of application, the period for submission of documents. ( in case of application in a private capacity )
One-year course(April, 2012 entrance to school) : September 16 ( Fri. ) to October 19 ( Wed. ) 2011.
One and a half-year course(October, 2012 entrance to school) : March 12 ( Mon. ) to April 17 ( Tue. ) 2012.
Office hours(reception) Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ( close on Sundays and public holidays )

Process from application for admission to enrollment and opening of courses
<Application documents>

1.Required forms on applicant him/herself

1. Admission application
2. The reason for studying Japanese
3. Submit applicant's diploma of the last attended school or a Graduation Certificate.
4. Transcript Certificate of the last attended school.
5. Japanese Language Studies Certificate or Japanese Proficiency Test results
6. Photo (3 cm x 4 cm) 5 pieces
7. Copy of Passport
8. Occupation certificate
* A person of an application from China has the documents which it is necessary in addition to the above.

2.Required forms on Remitter him/herself

A. For remitters living overseas
1. Pledge
2. Certificate of Balance
3. Certificate of Income
4. Occupation certificate
5. Documents verifying relationship between applicant and remitter: Family Registration or Birth Certificate etc.

B. For remitters’ living in Japan (Remitter living in Kansai area is desirable.)
1. Pledge
2. Certificate of Balance
3. Tax certificate: Document to confirm yearly income.
4. Occupation certificate
5. Documents verifying relationship between applicant and remitter:If relative, submit a document verifying your relationship.
6. Copy of Resident’s Card or Alien Registration Certificate

(Note 1) For those applying from The People's Republic of China, please ask for a different “Required Application related Forms List”.
(Note 2) Applicants from Mongolia, Myanmar and Bangladesh, or those who have applied for eligibility or change of status before need another papers besides that written above. Contact us.
(Note 3) Should you have difficulty obtaining any of the above stated forms, please contact us.

<Steps from application to entrance into school>

1.Application

 ・The applicant's proxy ( financial supporter or presenter ) will come to our school within the application period, with all necessary documents prepared.
We do not accept any application by mail.
 In case where application forms are submitted through a foreign students center or a Japanese-language school, the deadline for application, the term limitation for tuition fee payment, etc. will be different from where application is made on an individual basis.
Please consult each affiliated institution.

2.Examination

 ・The first examination・・・a documentary examinaiton.
 ・The second examination・・・An interview with the financial supporter, or the presenter, who resides in Japan.
  Successful applicants must pay the examination fee ( and also the entrance fee and the tuition fee for 6 months, in case where expenses are covered by money sent from their home country ).
  Applicants from China will be given an interview and a written test, in addition to a documentary examination.
 *An examination of a one-year course is a plan of the end of October.
 *An examination of one-year and six month course is a plan of the end of April.
 *A plan of a place is Beijing / Shanghai / Dailian / Shenyang.

3.Application to the Immigration Bureau of Japan

 ・We apply for authorization of resident eligibility in the place of successful applicants.

4.Delivery of Certificate of eligibility

 ・In case that applicants pass screening by the Immigration Bureau, "Certificate of eligibility" will be delivered to us ( usually about a month before the start of courses ).
  Their financial supporter or presenter will be contacted and requested to come to school in order to deliver entrance fees, and to receive "Certificate of eligibility" and "Letter of Admission" from us.

5.The acquisition of a studying abroad visa

 ・With "Letter of Admission" from us, "Certificate of eligibility" and a passport, successful applicants will apply for a visa at Japanese diplomatic offices in their home country ( Japanese Embassy or Consulate ).

6.Entrance into school

 ・Successful applicants should deliver the tuition fee before entering into school. They are supposed to enter Japan before the placement test that is given a week before the entrance ceremony.
