Outline and characteristics

The Japanese language department offers teaching of Japanese language and other necessary subjects ( mathematics, physics, chemistry, English, social studies ) in the interest of foreign students preparing to take entrance examinations by Japanese universities, graduate schools, two-year colleges, vocational technical schools, etc.

Privileges exclusively reserved for those with a student visa ( resident status )
  • Grant ・・・ There are 5 scholarship programs offered by Japan's government, Osaka City, and other bodies.
  • Commuter tickets are available in student fares.
  • Government-run health insurance and medical assistance ... In addition to the National Health Insurance, other subsidy systems can reduce medical expense.
  • International Students House ・・・ Application can be made for residence in public halls for foreign students.
There are exchange programs.
  • F・F・P(Foreign Friendship Program)・・・There are exchange programs between foreign students and Japanese candidates for Japanese-language teacher.
  • Foster parents・・・Experience of Japanese culture through communication with a Japanese family
Details of the courses
Terms One-year course : April 2010. to March 2011.
One and a half-year course : October 2010. to March 2012.

* Graduated students of the one-year course are entitled to go on to the Second Japanese Language Course ( one-year course ) and to continue with study to the maximum of two years.
Class hours ( days of the week, hours ) Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Guidelines for applicants
The regular number of class One-year course : 30 persons.
One and a half-year course : 27 persons.
The second Japanese language department : 20 persons.
Application procedures The applicant or the proxy is requested to come to school with all necessary documents prepared.
In case of applying directly from abroad, send the documents by EMS.

* There are affiliated centers for study abroad taking care of paperwork
  and application.
  ( A processing fee is needed separately. )

Process from application for admission to enrollment and opening of courses
Expenses for study, etc.
Entrance fee, Tuition fee One-year course : entrance fee 80,000yen, tuition fee 660,000yen ( including course materials and facilities expenses )
One and a half-year course : entrance fee 80,000yen, tuition fee 990,000yen ( including course materials and facilities expenses )
How to deliver fees To be paid at the reception desk of our school or by bank transfer, etc.
The term of delivery Entrance fee : To be paid when Certificate of eligibility is delivered.
Tuition fee : To be paid at the moment of entrance into school.
Others * Please do not deliver the examination fee until we give further instructions.
* We cannot refund any examination fee, entrance fee, or tuition fee,
  once they are paid, except in cases where applicants cannot obtain their
  visa in spite of taking due procedures.
  No examination fee can be refunded.
* Expenses include consumption taxes.
