Long-term, Multidisciplinary Course
This is designed for non-Japanese students who are willing to proceed to Japanese universities, graduate schools, vocational technical schools, etc in Japan. Classes mainly focus on Japanese grammar and sentence structures, starting from non-sophisticated structures, our courses are based on 4 basic skills; conversation, reading, listening and writing skills. By mastering the 4 above mentioned skills, students will be capable of adapting their language skills to the new educational fields.
The course secures them residence status of "student".

Osaka YWCA College was founded by the YWCA (Young Women's Christian Association), a world movement for youths and women, to train people who love peace and who want to contribute to a society in which human dignity is protected.
The Osaka YWCA's involvement in Japanese-language education started with training of Japanese-language teachers. Over 35 years' experience resulted in its top-level teaching of Japanese as a foreign language.
To teach the Japanese language is not only to teach a "language", but to teach the Japanese' way of thinking and their cultures. In this sense, Japanese-language education is at the forefront of international communication.
We are convinced that Japanese learning supported by skilled teachers will make sure the first step of your study abroad.
